So it was the first official snow of winter. I was shocked when I woke up. I looked out the window and saw the white roof tops and thought I was dreaming.
It was fun scraping off the layer of snow sitting on my car but other than that it was not a big deal. And really, how could it be? As you can see in the picture the rain washed away most of the snow.
I am scared but I think I will be okay. I am leaving the window cracked at night to try and get my body to adjust the colder weather. I read online that you should take cold showers but that would just be painful.
I should be fine as long as I am not driving. I have scarves and beanies (thanks Aunt Martha and Unlce Tino) and nice leather gloves (thanks Aunt Patte)! I also got some snow boots. They are little boys and look like them BUT they were cheap and they are meant for below freezing temperatures.
I can't wait to come home to warmness and fog in less than 30 days!
